iShares Nears $5 Trillion AUM Milestone on Record ETF Inflows
BlackRock's iShares ETF franchise is approaching $5 trillion in assets under management following historic inflows during the first half of 2025. The asset manager reported $152 billion in year-to-date net inflows through July 17, with $85 billion specifically flowing into ETF products.
Total AUM reached $12.5 trillion as of June 30, with ETFs accounting for $4.75 trillion of that sum. European clients contributed over a third of ETF inflows through local product offerings. The growth comes despite a $52 billion institutional redemption affecting quarterly figures.
"Our iShares business remains a powerful growth engine and innovation driver," said CEO Larry Fink, noting 12% organic fee growth in ETFs last quarter. The firm's newer product launches are generating disproportionate growth across both Core and emerging business lines.
